I don't usually disagree with CIG on how or what they sell (yes some of it could be considered p2W but they they need money to make the game), but selling land claims beforehand was 100% bullshit.

There was a lot of small things IMO. - The graphics overhauls and updates really makes me believe SQ42 can be an amazing cinematic game that will fulfill a lot of what we hoped it would be. - The FPS updates. - Base building will be cool too.

Really depends on what you want to do. Atm I'd only buy a cheap starter ship (there area few) then work in-game to earn credits and try out different ships, or when CIG has a "free fly week" when you can try different ships for free (they happen a few times a year). Once you know which parts...
