ATTENTION: We have moved our Shader pack behind the Forum Registration wall. Our host informed us shortly after this video going up on YouTube that there were issues being created by someone doing something they shouldn't. Once we moved it behind the registration wall that issue went away. Apology in advance. If you don't want to register here there are many shader packs on the web.

PART 2 - INSTALL THE BASIC RESHADER PACK

We've provided a basic shader pack called Hadean Reshade Pack 3.22. This is a public pack that can be used by anyone.

The public shader pack includes the following shaders (as of 3.22):
  • 01-DefaultPreset
  • 02-AntiFog
  • 03-NightVision
  • 04-Infra- Red
  • 05-LyriaMining.

DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL SHADERS
  • Download the Hadean Reshade Pack (attached to this post)
  • Navigate to your download file and UNZIP HERE
  • Rename Directory with Shader files to Presets 3.23
  • Copy Presets 3.23 over to your BIN64 folder where you installed ReShade originally
    • Default Example: C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\LIVE\Bin64

PART 3 - CONFIGURE RESHADE IN STAR CITIZEN

  • LOAD Star Citizen
  • One the second loading screen, the one with the SC logo, you should see Reshade 5.9.2 information in the top left of your screen (see attached)
    • If the ReShade writing is white then you are using the latest version.
    • If the ReShade writing is yellow then there is an update and it will provide instructions

  • From here it will tell you to hit the HOME key for Tutorial.
    • You can skip the Tutorial if you want.
    • NOTE that HOME key will be your CONSOLE trigger until you change it in SETTINGS
  • Once the game has loaded and you are sitting at the Login Screen area hit HOME key
  • A large CONSOLE menu will pop up
  • Ensure you are on the HOME tab and click ReShadePreset blue bar
1701146607327.png
  • It will then load up a selection option for your local directories
    • Basically it puts you into the Bin64 folder
  • DOUBLE CLICK on the directory where you placed your ReShade pack
    • Example: C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\LIVE\Bin64\Presets 3.21
  • SELECT any of the the ReShader files in this directory and it will apply the filter
    • NOTE: You will be able to see this on the right side of the CONSOLE
  • Once you have told ReShade where to look you can now set your trigger keys. This is done on the SETTINGS TAB
  • I recommend you configure your trigger keys like the image below; you just have to mouse click on a line within the red box below

That is it. You are done. Good Hunting Citizen. When you press the NEXT/PREVIOUS preset buttons it will cycle through the ReShader files and tell you which one on the top left.

If you want to add or remove ReShade files from your loop/list you can just delete the specific shader file in your BIN64\Presets 3.22 directory.

@MasonGrimm Wanted to take a quick second and thank you for your very informative YouTube video on how to install and configure Reshade for Star Citizen. Also, making the shader pack available to us common folk :). I recently found your channel and have been suggesting them to my small group of long time gamer friends. I hope to catch you on Discord one day and formerly introduce myself, as I am very interested in learning more about Hadean Interstellar. Thanks again and I look forward to meeting you.

Hello,
Thanks for the reshader?
How do I set the default to game settings. I have HDR enabled, it seems that using both is too intense. Thanks!

Near the top of the settings page you can assign a key to toggle it on/off.
