RESHADE VERSION: 6.2.0 (LINK) as of August 29th, 2024
NOTE: If you are want to do a clean install you can do this
We've provided a basic shader pack called Hadean Reshade Pack 3.22. This is a public pack that can be used by anyone.
The public shader pack includes the following shaders (as of 3.22):
DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL SHADERS
That is it. You are done. Good Hunting Citizen. When you press the NEXT/PREVIOUS preset buttons it will cycle through the ReShader files and tell you which one on the top left.
If you want to add or remove ReShade files from your loop/list you can just delete the specific shader file in your BIN64\Presets 3.22 directory.

- Uninstall previous ReShade version
- Delete of your BIN64 directory
- Launch the SC launcher
- Verify the files and let it install the missing files again
- Complete install of latest version using the video above and instructions below
PART 1 - INSTALL RESHADER ONTO STAR CITIZEN EXE
- Download the latest version of Reshade
- Navigate to downloaded ReShade file and DOUBLE CLICK
- NOTE: Star Citizen is not a released game yet so click BROWSE on the bottom right
- Browse to wherever you store your Star Citizen files
- Default Example: C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\LIVE\Bin64
- LEFT CLICK on StarCitizen.exe and highlight it
- SELECT OPEN down on the bottom right
- On the page it takes you to SELECT NEXT
- It will ask you to Select Rendering API StarCitizen Uses - SELECT Direct X 10/11/12
- NOTE: StarCitizen now has SOME vulcan as of 3.23 so you can try and select it however I don't use it yet.
- SELECT NEXT
- On the next page it will say SELECT PRESET TO INSTALL
- SELECT SKIP as we will work on this later
- On the SELECT EFFECTS PACKAGES TO INSTALL just leave the default
- Standard Effects
- SweetFX by CeeJay.dk
- SELECT NEXT
- On the next page it will say SELECT "SWEETFX" FILES TO INSTALL
- Make sure they are ALL selected
- It will inform you that you have successfully installed ReShade
- SELECT FINISH
PART 2 - INSTALL THE BASIC RESHADER PACK
We've provided a basic shader pack called Hadean Reshade Pack 3.22. This is a public pack that can be used by anyone.

- 02-AntiFog
- 03-NightVision
- 04-Infra- Red
- 05-LyriaMining.
DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL SHADERS
- Download the Hadean Reshade Pack (attached to this post)
- Navigate to your download file and UNZIP HERE
- Rename Directory with Shader files to Presets 3.23
- Copy Presets 3.23 over to your BIN64 folder where you installed ReShade originally
- Default Example: C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\LIVE\Bin64
PART 3 - CONFIGURE RESHADE IN STAR CITIZEN
- LOAD Star Citizen
- One the second loading screen, the one with the SC logo, you should see Reshade 5.9.2 information in the top left of your screen (see attached)
- If the ReShade writing is white then you are using the latest version.
- If the ReShade writing is yellow then there is an update and it will provide instructions
- From here it will tell you to hit the HOME key for Tutorial.
- You can skip the Tutorial if you want.
- NOTE that HOME key will be your CONSOLE trigger until you change it in SETTINGS
- Once the game has loaded and you are sitting at the Login Screen area hit HOME key
- A large CONSOLE menu will pop up
- Ensure you are on the HOME tab and click ReShadePreset blue bar
- It will then load up a selection option for your local directories
- Basically it puts you into the Bin64 folder
- DOUBLE CLICK on the directory where you placed your ReShade pack
- Example: C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\LIVE\Bin64\Presets 3.21
- SELECT any of the the ReShader files in this directory and it will apply the filter
- NOTE: You will be able to see this on the right side of the CONSOLE
- Once you have told ReShade where to look you can now set your trigger keys. This is done on the SETTINGS TAB
- I recommend you configure your trigger keys like the image below; you just have to mouse click on a line within the red box below
