Most Biomes are present around the Equator.

OM 3-6 are evenly spread along the Equator.

Goto an OM (3-6) that orbits an illuminated part of MicroTech.

This picture is taken from OM-4. (For ingame zoom, hold F and scroll mouse wheel)

Biome 5, Frozen Tundras are located at the poles , OM-1(N) and 2(S), reached by going down to surface from said OM's.

Biome 6, Frozen Lakes are impossible to miss from orbit.

Edit: For screenshots or other reasons, if you want permanent sunlight, go down close to the North Pole (OM-1).For darkness, the South Pole (OM-2).

This applies to all Planets and Moons in Star Citizen since Stanton (the Star), is positioned above the orbital plane of the system.

Found the one River in game. Has lots of flat lands around it.

Exit NEW BABBAGE and boost up (straff up) to 4000m

Point to heading 205
Fly out to 440km from New Babbage and it'll be in this large sort of green/brown space surrounded by snowy mountains and hills.
It will have a lot of trees around it

LOTS of flat land on both sides. Probably enough that we could put a base there if we claim it first.

That may require a sick day on the day they start allowing bases to be built.
